fractalign Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 (edited) Hey. I have been wanting to build a truck model for a while now and recently bought a Revell 125: scale Peterbilt 359. The price was right and my plan was to convert it into an early model 350 because i happen to like the early model Peterbilts. While the two models are similar, i thought about it a bit and decided it would be easier to scratch build a 350 rather than try to convert the 359 into a 350. By using the 359 chassis as a template i realised i would have an easy platform to work off. With the nearest hobby shop over 100 miles away and materials in short supply i looked around for some suitable material and decided on using excess CD covers. Their rigid design design makes them perfect for this project. Edited August 25, 2012 by fractalign
