ERIK88 Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 Hi, i currently bought some old nascar kits, I am looking for some reference pictures of the real cars or models (90's amt, monogram T BIRDS, OLDS, LUMINA AND MONTE CARLO to further enhance my models in detail. It is very hard to obtain ref pics online.I would primarily like to see were the wiring goes. I am a huge fan of the 90's nascar race cars, and I like their styling.
roadhawg Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 You can usually get some pretty good reference photos by searching site that specialize in race car restoration and sales, and also auction houses that sell race cars: http://www.genefelto...b_citgo_21.html http://www.race-cars...121452916pp.htm http://www.barrett-j...n=744.1&aid=304 http://www.barrett-j...?ln=621&aid=283 As far as wiring and plumbing, you'll probably need a basic understanding of dry sump oil systems...... Keep in mind that most of these hoses and lines disappear behind body panels, so if you get the entry and exit points close, nobody will actually know where they're going. Hope this gets you started.
ERIK88 Posted October 7, 2012 Author Posted October 7, 2012 Thank you so much for the help, i will definetely look into those websites. The diagram you have sent me is very informative, and your right, I should only detail as far as the eye can see . Im glad I have the reference pic, I will actually understand what I am wiring !.
