The red paint between the raised ribs on the valve covers looks good, but I would suggest you don't use red to highlight the empty space between each vertical grille bar, as it means the grille is solid and no air can flow through it. You can kind of get away with using black for those recesses to force a visual shadow effect, but not with colors.
