ModelManLHT Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 Hey guys I am new to this site, and as well to modeling. I have been wanting to do it for I'm not even sure how long, but I finally started and this is my first creation. Feel free to leave any tips, tricks, suggestions, or negative/positive criticism. Thanks!
dimebolt Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 Looks good Logan. Welcome to the hobby, and this forum. This is a GREAT place to gain building tips, and knowledge. Corey
W-409 Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Yeah, looks like you did excellent job on your first build. Paint job looks shiny in the pictures, great job. Pictures are bit blurry. Clear pictures make the model look better, too. Do you use a Camera or Cell Phone for taking pictures? If you use camera, make sure that you have Macro or Super Macro setting on. It's usually marked with flower in some button. And keep your hands steady when taking pictures with Super Macro. If you use cell phone, it's possible to take good pictures too, but it's not as easy. I like to take outside shots with cell phone, they turn out much better than inside shots. Then just take many pics and choose the best ones. Good pictures make the model really stand out. And one thing what helps, use big one colored background (I like to use white poster). It makes it easier to camera to focus to right object. Hope this helps, not trying to nitpick or something. Just wanted to give tips how to make models look better in these pictures too.
