I just finished the flyer for the 2013 Buckeye Classic so I thought I would share, even though it's a little early. Same place as last year, Ramada Plaza Hotel at I-71 and Morse Rd in Cowlumbus, Ohia! Same date (almost) March 24. Same categories, same participant voting. This year will be the first Ohio Challenge, Ohio clubs will have a build off of the Round 2 Gremlin kit. See the builders from Cleveland, Cincinnati, Dayton, and Columbus go head to head in a model building cage match! OK, maybe not a cage match, but almost as exciting. We feature the best vendor room on the Scioto, and as always, the finest weather Ohio has to offer! So mark your calendar, put in for vacation, tell all your friends, and bring your best models to the Buckeye Classic Model Car Spectacular! Now for the flyer you were waiting for:

We're getting geared up for our third annual show, including the Buckeye Challenge build of the Gremlin. Come see the best of Ohio build a Gremlin for all the marbles! We have a really cool super secret bonzai monster unique trophy for the winning club to display for a year. You will also see the best the Buckeye state and surrounding states have to offer as far as model cars. Vendor spaces are available and as always, plenty of room for more model cars! So throw the kids in the back of the car, phone the neighbors to join you, and head to central Ohio for the Buckeye Classic!

Oh NOOO!! I had one I had to do that to, the AMT 70 1/2 Camaro, some of those old kits are, uh, challenging! My Gremlin is getting some MAJOR surgery, and I hear others are also. Maybe you could bring the the pieces and we could have a funeral, or maybe it will win fist prize! Either way, we'll be happy to have you there!

Tom, I am disappointed. That is what you get for always putting together those Merc and Ford kits that always fit together nicely. I was counting on you. I only know of 3 finished Gremlins from the club so far. We need more!

By the way, I hear the '75 Gremlin goes together easier. I thought they were the same kit(?), so I don't think anyone will be picking nit if a '75 shows up instead of the '76. Just a thought for all of the would be competitors out there!

Tom, Kevin and Donn got me motivated to put up the entry forms and vendor forms on our website. Just click the link in my sig line and follow the link on our site. See y'all then!

I'll be there! I got my best friend hooked last year, and he's coming too. I really enjoy this show. I'll have to see if I finished anything since the last show. If I have, I'll bring it.

What do you mean if the weather is good? This is sunny Ohio, the weather is always wonderful!! You know between the blazing hot summers and the psychotic bi-polar winters, it's like Hawaii down here. :D We hope to see you here in March!

Here's a sneak peek at part of the traveling trophy for the Ohio Challenge Gremlin build off. BTW, a little birdie told me that the winner of this year's build off picks the kit (from four choices) for next year's build.

this would be cool just to go but i build all muscle cars and trucks and im not a member of this club. i think it would be awesome to show ohio builders my international lonestar and shelby blue crew cars.

Bring 'em! We have all kinds of cool awards, not just this one. This is just our latest for one part of the show, we have a whole category for just trucks. I hope to see you there!

I will be there. Will also be my first model car show. Can't wait to have some of my NASCAR builds on display, and to check out some of the other great builds from throughout the state.
