W-409 Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 Should i wire this up? Yeah, absolutely! This kit is very good quality and nice basis for adding some extra details. Here is my engine of this same kit, for a little inspiration and maybe reference too. It's still in progress, though. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=39369 Can't wait to see more.
bryan_m Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 oh yea, you gotta wire it..... well, at least plug wires. cant wait to see more cheers bryan
blackace183 Posted November 10, 2012 Author Posted November 10, 2012 I dont have a drill or any model wires, what can i do?
W-409 Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 I don't know if some Hobby Shops there have wires and other aftermarket stuff, but one way to make wires is to stretch a piece of parts tree with heat to get small diameter wire which can be painted to whatever color you like. It works almost as easily as Aftermarket plug wires do. Or then you can simply order those wires online. I don't know where those are cheap or where they are expensive or anything like that, since I don't live in the USA. Someone else knows this better. And for the drills, I guess they can be ordered too?
dimebolt Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 Looks great so far. What you need is a pin vise, and a set of small drill bits. I get my bits at Wal Mart with the Dremel accessories. Old telephone wire is another source of plug wires.

blackace183 Posted November 11, 2012 Author Posted November 11, 2012 Started working on it a bit. Im grounded so nothing esle todo lol. Ran a fuel line not looking to do more wiring with out having a drill small enough. But heres my progress. This was the plan i used for the fuel lines.
blackace183 Posted November 25, 2012 Author Posted November 25, 2012 Got small things done. In the process of decaling the body.
