fredo84 Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 Hi Guys ! I got this kit some will ago... It's an Old kit issue in 1964 ( If I'm not mistaking... ) ( Love That side box art ! ) I already strip all chrome and primer everywhere... I'm thinking of building it Box Stock with some detailing... Just a little mock up with stock wheels-stock tire: But I might drift at some point..... Wheels and Tires from Fujimi Golf II GTI (I know it's a bit weired.... ) The Idea Of The Cragar-Stock Tires Cross My Mind ...I had to try ..... Any Idea-Critics-Comment Are Welkom ! Good Or Bad ... Thanks For Lookin'! F

Ace-Garageguy Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 (edited) Love seeing this come together. This kit has a reputation for being a bear to get right, but your work looks great so far. Edited November 19, 2012 by Ace-Garageguy
dimebolt Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 Looks like you're off to a good start Fredo. Keep it up man. Corey
Platerpants Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 looks like the one i built last month but mine was the aurora revell one.
fredo84 Posted November 19, 2012 Author Posted November 19, 2012 Thanks guys ! Like you said Bill ! it's a bear to make it all fit ... Well time to go on the bench ...
robertw Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 I built this kit way back when and as I recall a lot of the parts of it don't fit all that well, but then back in the late '60s I wasn't that great a modeller so maybe it is a better kit then I recall. Either way have fun and I'll look forward to your posts on this build.
fredo84 Posted November 19, 2012 Author Posted November 19, 2012 Ok it's done ... Just i will not post picture under glass ... As everybody know ...it's a difficult kit to make it all fit ...well maybe it's me that I'm not good ...
Scale-Master Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 Wow, you finished THAT kit in four days? I've heard some people call those kits nearly unbuildable, I for one would like to see how it looks.
