For some reason this project  popped into my head. I haven’t found one in a search, anybody built one???

I got the Revell kit for it today

I am a bit surprised that none of the 3D folks have scanned the car and made a kit out of it, or at least the pieces to make one. But if they have, I have yet to see it.

I have one in the planning stages. I've scored the (Revell) kit and gathered up some parts. It's just waiting its turn on the bench, but that won't be tomorrow.

I built the MPC Milner's Coupe in the late 70s. There was a lot about that kit that I wasn't happy with. I swapped out the tires and wheels for a much better set as the MPC stuff was garbage. Those same wheels and rear tires from the JoHan '64 Dodge Super Stock are still swishing around the parts box, and will be going on my new Milner build.

That Milner kit was just a rehashed Switchers kit. Not even close. Same with the Dragster, it was just a Ramchargers rail with a new body.

Some sanding drums and discs. I almost took this box to the club meeting to sell…glad I didn’t now.

Did you get all the Dremel accessories by mistake?

Bill, I will use a Fujimi 356 for the Abarth-Carrera (have several kits + 2 junkers),

the Abarth 205 Vignale will be built curbside with a scratch bare racing interior (for chassis # 102, see pic below) and wheels from Jack modeling:

For the Pegaso I have the idea of turning it into the Z 102 Thrill of 1953 ( I have 4 diecast Z102S for interior/chassis etc.):

But this will not be done in the immediate future, I just wanted to secure the bodies for me - a German slotracer was selling off part of his collection ...

No Carl, this was two separate orders. One was the sand/polishing discs and mandrels. The other was the sanding drums and mandrels.

The Camaro was the first Funny Car that I built. I really liked the Blower Scoop, and I still use the decals once in a while.

Helmut, Thanks for your detailed reply to my question. I too attempt to buy resin pieces when they are available. This was a perfect opportunity purchase for you. Congratulations.

A belated Christmas post. I saw a few of you show these type of kits. I think my family heard me crying about not be able to paint outside in the winter. Any insights on wood models? The large Chevy box is a Kg+.image.thumb.jpeg.999297fec5dca89272a1ed169cbe304c.jpeg

I got that one for Christmas as well.  I've built several ROKR kits and they're flawless.  Good instructions, laser work is spot on, everything just fits.  On this one, be aware that the seats are VERY delicate and the exhaust needs a little fiddling to lock together properly.

Wanted a simple kit to build - all my other current builds seem to be very demanding.

Going to build this box stock (though with a little bit of under bonnet enhancement) as the lowrider option.

You have to give credit to Revell for the new box art. To me it is very attention grabbing.

I just returned home from Dailey Hobbies, where I met up with a great friend. As usual, I bought some kits. I sure am glad that Don Prudhomme has given Atlantis licensing rights.

The Nissan becuse I'm a "Fanboy!" LOL  Back in highschool I had a friend whose father was fairly high up in the Shell organization. Said father got my friend a summer job in the Arctic. He came home loaded with cash, and bought this Datsun new. It was even this colour.

I have been waiting for this Moebius kit to arrive at Dailey's. Even though I haven't opened it, the box is quite substantial as it is about 50% taller than a regular Moebius kit box. Again, back in high school, I worked part time at an Esso station. When I was the closing person, it was my job to back the station's wrecker into the freshly cleaned first bay. That was my first experience with a standard! LOL

Are those Jägermeister decals with yellow or gold?I need a set with gold. I had a paint reaction ruining the hood paint and decals on a BMW hood. I ordered aftermarket replacements, but they were yellow, not gold

Real car reference material, but very useful for "traditional" model rod builders who like to understand reality, and get things right.

Those are awesome! I could use some of those, myself!

There are several more in the series that are great too.  :D

Even if you're an old-school real-car builder, having all the right info in one go-to place is really nice.

Internet picture, but I got one off eBay last night. Oddball scale, but what a cool bike. I saw one years ago, I believe it was in a German magazine called Streetfighters. It was a custom , long and low, with a Ducati single sided swingarm and the fuel tank was two cylindrical tubes with an angled cut in each end and convex ends. I believe those were purple. I wish I could see that bike again.
