As a regular LEGO builder as well, I need to look out for this here in the UK!

I don’t have a website. I run most of my stuff off Facebook. Find me on Facebook or message me here if interested

These arrived from HLJ today. Oddly, I received an email this morning saying that they were supposed to ship from Atlanta on 3/6. ?

I went to a local craft store that I recently discovered to pick up some more embossing powder. Then I happened to notice this stuffthat should work great for seatbelts.?

I picked up a tape-sealed ‘complete’ one of these at a show last year…and found out when I got home that it wasn’t complete in the slightest.  I still wanna build it though, so picked up a second FACTORY sealed one this time:

I laid out and had printed some 90s era NY taxi rate cards and door lettering - need to print a better placard for the roof and some little bits and then this will be ready to go into the queue

That's going to be one sweeeeeeet truck.

I hope so but i dont think I will have time for it anytime soon. Maybe after a few years.

Bought this today. I think it will look good next to my needle nose Peterbilt that i am going to build someday.

The only thing bought from out of town was the Lego's.  Everything else was most of my orders that came in.  Sadly one bottle of gravity colors was busted, and got all over the other bottles, and ruined the labels so i had to clean them all up, and put new labels on. I'm hoping they send me a replacement.

EDIT: So contacted them with pics, and they said they're going to ship out a new bottle tomorrow :D

I added a couple more early brushes to my collection. They are both Aerograph E type brushes purchased from two different sellers in the UK.

I wanted the first one as I knew it was produced before the Super63, which coincidentally debuted around 1963  from what I've been able to learn, although I didn't know when for sure. With a bit of research I've found it should have been made around 1920-1930.

The second one is older. From the bulb style air valve connection this brush should be from the early 1900s to 1920.

Charles L. Burdick founded the Aerograph Company (originally named the Fountain Brush Company) and moved to England. This brush has Chas L Burdick and the word Patent on the handle. There is no patent date. Both cases look to be original and in pretty good shape considering their age.

I absolutely LOVE your vintage airbrush collection!

As a vintage camera restorer and collector, I totally get it! (And resisting the urge to jump here ?)

Would love to try one of those vintage pieces some day.

Thanks,
Ismael

Thank you for the kind words Ismael, I'm glad you like them. For the most part they aren't much different than today's brushes. They've just been around for a longer period of time.

Well there's a coincidence, this turned up a few days ago:

Looks like a decent kit. We had the hatchback version as a road car for a few years (known as Carina E in the UK) and this is the closest I'll get as a replica.

I like the C110 Skyline kit you got too.

Just won an eBay auction for the Tamiya 1/12 Caterham BDR kit. I got it for a great price for a sealed example. This is often called the best kit Tamiya ever produced and I'm massively psyched to build it. Of course it'll be a WIP on here!

A great antique mall score! The Duster is really a nice kit. My first one. The Chevy takes me back to a kid and that Bugatti has Rat Rod written all over it! ?20230303_160324.thumb.jpg.7d79b93ba7ae67bed9ae90fd820b92cb.jpg

Got these two built ups among some other stuff in a trade with SamIAm. He did not build these but got them at a model show/sale. Pretty cool builds, to me.
