Just traded for this. I built this and the wrecker when I was a kid. One down, one to go. Thanks Tom (Modlbldr) for a great trade.

came up empty handed at the only LHS in town.  Needed some tamiya paint but they're backordered on what i wanted.  I hate not buying anything, so i got the new issue of MCM

Looks like it may have opened in August?

11610 W. 95th, conveniently located next to a Hobby Lobby.
as far as kits on hand I saw a coke trailer, Myers Manx, a corvette Cr7? and a mid 90’s Mustang along with various jet aircraft.

I’d wanted one of these for a while, and a co-worker surprised me with an Amazon voucher for a lunchtime project I was helping her with…so I knew immediately what to spend it on:

Micro Mark Chop-It…not the fanciest of tools, but I already know I’m going to use this a bunch, especially for those tasks where you need to cut a bunch of material to identical lengths easily.

I have the Evergreen version, it works great on thin stuff and handy to make a bunch of the same part.

From scalehobbyist. Have both Fireblades now. I’m hoping the pearl white over white primer will give me the proper white? If not I may have to order the proper color from zero paints.

This is another weird truck.  Pretty sure my dad had 2 like this one only 2WD. Still under the Datsun moniker.  No caps though.

Scored another deal off ebay. Still out there if you look. I only bought this for the complete rider but I also have a sort of complete CR 450 for parts.

Very cool! Can you elaborate on the kit a little? Scale, manufacturer, etc? Thanks!

These Falcons obtained recently from eBay (Red 62 and Green 61) will be reworked and supplemented by cheap AMT 60 Ranchero kits. The 62 will become a convertible with a few enhancements. The 61 will be a resto-mod.

If I get a chance to take any.  I'm usually pretty busy running the show; doing registration, running the raffle and handing out awards.

We are hoping that a certain model magazine will send someone out to photograph the show.

This one followed me home today.  It’s been started but I think it’s all there.  Looks like a bit of a glue bomb.  But the rims are all there (I love those old slots) and the box looks really good for its age.  I have a real soft spot for the old white box monogram stuff.

What did I get today that’s model kit related?

Does anxiety, added stress, and a strong want to pull my hair out count? It is related to a model kit. ????
