Lovefordgalaxie Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 After finishing my 1940 Ford SD, I thought I could build one more kit in 2012. Like I have a factory stock 1951 Chevy alredy built, I decided to build one as a 1950's hotrod. Started on the 20th painting the body, and finished today. It's far from perfect, after all, it's just a three day build, and I never have the same care on building a modiffied car than I have building something factory stock, but I think that in general it turned out ok. The paint is Tamiya Metallic Green over Tamiya Gun Metal. Thanks for looking!!!
bbowser Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Great job Tulio. I just did one stock but it took a lot longer than 3 days . Love the paint and wide whites. That 6-banger looks good too.

rmvw guy Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Man that is sweet! You got the 50s look going on. Very smooth, and all in 3 days? Nice work!
slusher Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Tulio another excellent build and love the color. You build some outstanding builds...
Lovefordgalaxie Posted December 23, 2012 Author Posted December 23, 2012 This is the Chevy on Thursday: This is the Chevy on Friday (when the world was supposed to end  )
Flatout Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Tulio...I love this thing! The stance, the colors, and your choice of engine and modifications are just right. As always, very clean work...even if you were in a hurrry
charlie8575 Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 So...you wanted to build it fast in case the Earth-consuming fireball did come? It still looks better than anything that takes me a year to do. Charlie Larkin
W-409 Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 That's excellent build.....In Three Days?! I can't get the engine finished in three days and you built whole car and it looks awesome. The paint and detail is incredible, like the stance too. Good work.
TooOld Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Beautiful ! Of course all of your models are !
