Steven2 Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 I had been concentrating on cars since early this year so I switched back to my other modeling love and built these three Tamaki Kousaka kits more or less in tandem. (or would that be trident) The first one is my favorite pose, I tried for hours to paint her smile less rueful but in the end the shape of the resin won out. She's the biggest of the three, about 9 1/2 inches sitting whilst the next one is about the same standing. This one was pretty straightforward to build. I like how the blue came out. At about 7" this is the smallest (and sexiest) of the three. I think I got the basic colors right.
TooOld Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 Those are sooo cute and your paint is gorgeous ! I've looked at some of these kits but never thought I could do the paint work . I still might try one day .

Steven2 Posted December 27, 2012 Author Posted December 27, 2012 Thank you Bob and Ira. I highly recommend trying one of these type kits. Often the most (or only) difficult part is prepping the resin parts, depending on the kit and quality of the casting.
