jetpilot888 Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 G'day, we'll this was an intresting weekend, with an idea of a different kind, the kit started out as an AMT 1/25 FnF Toyota Surpa, which was built just like the one on the box. but once it gets moved house more than a few times, they always end up broken. so after parting it out for seats and accesories and engine it sat around for about a year, before i decided to build it like the wrecked one in the film. so here's the results! enjoy
TFchronos Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Very cool and interesting idea, it looks really good.
Zarana-X Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 I said a 10 second car, not a 10 minute car.
camarofreak82_427 Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 U could push it across the line...or tow it. I got the movie memorized haha love wat u did here
brodie_83 Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 This is awesome! I have 2 of those kits, one of which is up for trade...but I was thinking the other day that I should keep it and build it like the wrecked one that they eventually fixed. Too cool!
Austin T Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 I said a 10 second car, not a 10 minute car. I saw this thread and that's the first thing that came to mind.
krazyglu Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 " I live my life a quarter mile at a time. Nothing else matters: not the mortgage, not the store, not my team and all their bullcrap. For those ten seconds or less, I'm free." haha I'm sorry I had to. Seriously I think it's a great idea and it took you no time plus you got to try something different on a spare kit....win win win.
Tonioseven Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 "You almost had me? You NEVER had me; you never had your CAR!!!" Terrific build!!
Helix Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 Nice work Todd, I see all the movie buffs have responded
