Nxr Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 Okay my best try to make it look as real as possible
Harry P. Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Why are the front and rear bumpers all grainy and not shiny? Did you do something to the kit chrome?
Duntov Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Nice work on this one!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
Guest Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Why are the front and rear bumpers all grainy and not shiny? Did you do something to the kit chrome? I was wondering this also. Just so you are aware, the underhood area on GM cars of this vintage are semi gloss black. Nice work otherwise.
Nxr Posted February 4, 2013 Author Posted February 4, 2013 Oh man big durr on the hood area, will know that for the gto and el camino i have of the same year. The front bumper is painted rustoleum silver while the back is krylon chrome, the can was low and made those grains with one bad shoot, the krylon chrome however is not gonna stay shiny if you touch it a lot but the rustoleum holds up well to touching and handling.
Olds Rocket 88 Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Very nice build, love those 442's, got out of the service in 1966 and bought a brand new red one, last one they had..... loved that car !!
