chebbysteve Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 (edited) Just finished this one. I actually painted it in 1975...sooo, its one of those looong builds. By AMT, and it ended up a curbside cause the stock hood wouldnt close with the triple carb option. Oh well... Edited March 4, 2013 by chebbysteve
Albie D Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Cool build. Id love to build this, but current prices when one pops up is way out of my league.... Great job with it!
jaydar Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Nice. We really need a new tool full detail 63 Vette. Absolutely on that. 1/12 would be nice, too. joe.
cobraman Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 I guess the paint was dry. Nice looking split window.
TFchronos Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 Wow that looks nice, neat how well the paint held up. Excellent build!
Ramfins59 Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 Sweet looking Vette. I think I've got a Monogram kit of this car. Makes me want to finally pull it out but I've already got enough work going on.
jrherald420 Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 I guess the paint was dry. I about spit a mouth full of Sprite all over the computer!
Sixties Sam Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 (edited) Nice Vette! It's my favorite. Too bad they didn't keep the split window. It was classy looking, in my opinion. Good work. I'm glad it finally got finished! Sam Edited March 5, 2013 by Sixties Sam
chebbysteve Posted March 5, 2013 Author Posted March 5, 2013 Thanks for looking and for the comments. The 63 split window has been my favorite vette since I first saw it in the Chevy dealer showroom. It was a red car with red interior, and i used to stop there after school and just stand and look at it and imagine I could drive it.
TLes Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Nice job, The '63 was always one of my favorites. I kick myself when I see one and remember my friend wanted to sell me his silver one back in '68 and I didn't take him up on it. Ouch! I just kicked myself again.
