It's been a long haul but the last piece went on My Daughter's GMC Van today. She had this monster during school in the '90's and her take on a Hippie Van traveled to many a Grateful Dead event. I made it from an A-Team kit with many a modification, including cut out side windows, opening rear doors, reconfigured dash and console, 8 lug wheels (by Ryan Silva), interior side panels, hand sewn bean bag chair and many more. You can see all at the "work in progress here".

Wow, that is extremely cool! I love the display base too. I'm quite surprised your daughter didn't try to murder you when you gave her the keys! :lol:

That came out fantastic, Mike...a great example of a family car replica. I followed along on the build thread and was highly entertained. I bet you're glad it's done, though! :D

you also make a good copy thumbs up

from which kit are the tires from?

ps:here is my event van (i still own it but in present it dosent work ang got a lot of rust)

I'm so glad this project came through !!!!!!!!!! I have followed it from the very beginning . I'ts really nice to see all the extra time spent on the things like a tennis ball, inspection sticker and sagging hinges . Excellent work and my hat is off to ya !!!!!!!!!!

That's a cool event van .. and exactly what my daughter used it for.

The tires are : "a 1 Ton truck tire" from Ma's Resin.
