DrKerry Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 That is so kool. What roof did you use on back or is it sheet plastic???
TFchronos Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 That turned out really nice, you did a great job on it.
slusher Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 You really are great and building anything. another super build..
catpack68 Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 very nice work.i like the woodgrain on the sides too
DAYTIME Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 Great looking wagon. I had a 78 Buick wagon as my first car. Great memories.
mrspex Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 Woodgrain and slotted mags on a wagon. That's kool. Nice conversion.
bbowser Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 Great model. Brings back memories of the days before mini-vans, these wagons were everywhere. Nice work.
Gluhead Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Nice job. I had one of these in gold, and a Cutlass version in maroon. Pretty good cars, considering. I've toyed with the idea of making a model of my Malibu. Just too many other projects have come first.
James2 Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Impressive conversion! Gotta love a cool long roof.
Grzegorz Posted March 19, 2013 Author Posted March 19, 2013 Cool! Like it more than the ElCamino. Good job! ElCamino its not to bad too Thanks
surfjunke Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 Beautiful work! Very nice conversion & fine scratch work. Love the finish & the wood grain panels.
charlie8575 Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 I LOVE it! Those A (G from 1982-on) body wagons were nice cars. I had some friends in high school that had them, and I almost bought a 1983 Malibu with a 305- very nice car to drive. I don't think I ever saw a wagon with the rally wheels on it. They look good on the car. The one I almost bought had those odd, but good-looking stepped aluminum wheels on it. Charlie Larkin
Chuck Most Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 A friend of mine in high school had a 1:1 in a similar color- fill this up with amps, some guitars, and a drum kit and add plain steel wheels and it would look just like that car did mmost of the time.
dodge5522 Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Yes does any one know where I can get a couple of Malibu kits I really want wagons
Intmd8r Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 I've seen some expensive resin conversions that don't look half as good as your scratch built. Nice work.Just don't see many of the 1:1 on the roads anymore.
