krishna.iskandana Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Hello again guys. Here's an old kit from monogram which I purchased at a quite cheap price from ebay, a Havoline Ford T-Bird which was driven by Davey Allison when he won 1992 Daytona 500. I used mr hobby gloss clear over tamiya black black, and tamiya grey primer for the chassis, the only additonal was a set of engine wires. Let me know what you think and thanks for looking. Best Regards Krishna Iskandana Perth, Western Australia
slusher Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Excellent build Krishna, really nice work on those decals to.
bbowser Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Nice model. Black is tough, you did very well. Davy has always been a sentimental favorite.
Models by Bear Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Looks good.I have that kit need to build it after looking at how good this came out
kalbert Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 That looks real nice! You don't often see a NASCAR model relatively box stock, most of the time they're clad with all kinds of photo etched stuff and littered with fussy details. I like how it's built real clean. I'm also a Davey fan and a early 90's NASCAR fan, and specifically a '92 fan so seeing a good clean model from this era is great!
