David Thibodeau Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 Finished this one up tonight. Curbside kit that captures the lines of the car pretty well. The slats on the hood were the crappiest part of the kit. White metal and they needed alot of convincing to fit in there. This was the automotive star in the movie "The Wraith" An 80's B movie. HOK Rootbeer Kandy basecoat, omni clear.
Custom Hearse Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 Nice! I've always wanted to build this car. You did an excellent job on this!!!
Yahshu Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 (edited) Very nice, expensive piece of resin though. I've got one on the work bench (sorta) I put deeper dish rear wheels on & am still in the process of redoing the slats in brass who kitted this?/ Planet X http://www.comet-miniatures.com/browse.php?zone=18&s_categ=139&page=1 Edited March 30, 2013 by Yahshu

Maindrian Pace Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 Great job on the car, and great movie with a pre-insane Charlie Sheen. -MJS
508boricua Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 Loved this movie! Your build is absolutely flawless! Amazing work.
David Thibodeau Posted April 11, 2013 Author Posted April 11, 2013 Thanks guys it was a quick clean build and the only one out there! I believe the company based in the UK only did a run of 100 of these so the price will go u even more for the remaining. I did this for a buddy at work who is a fan of this car so I got the pleasure of building it.
