crazyjim Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 I was building a '57 Chevy with the fuelie option and just googled chevy fuel injection. Lots of pics came back. Try here - http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://fc02.deviantart.net/fs70/i/2010/154/6/e/Chevy_Fuel_Injected_283_by_DetroitDemigod.jpg&imgrefurl=http://detroitdemigod.deviantart.com/art/Chevy-Fuel-Injected-283-166385442&h=675&w=900&sz=210&tbnid=zbqEINy8CROdNM:&tbnh=90&tbnw=120&zoom=1&usg=__yKY5cx35CblMYMuPz1mlyBw5OuY=&docid=O4OVEL0YjTefvM&hl=en&sa=X&ei=FKZdUaGuJYbo9AT6v4Eo&ved=0CIUBEPUBMAs&dur=4181
CrazyGirl Posted April 4, 2013 Author Posted April 4, 2013 yeah i did that Jim ,, but i was hoping for more detailed pics , like where all the lines run , i guess it really matters not ,,
Longbox55 Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 This isn't a '62, but here's the manual page for the '57. http://chevy.oldcarmanualproject.com/manuals/1957csoc/57csocfi01.html
MrObsessive Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 (edited) Anne, there's a GORGEOUS '62 Fuelie 'Vette on eBay right now. Some engine shots, but tons of interior and undercarriage pics as well. The link that Bill gave you was a good one as it shows just where things are going. I've done like you and have bought shop manuals in the past if I want to get superdetailed. Sometimes the 'net just doesn't have all what I need as far as how and where lines are run. If you click on the pic below, it'll take you right to the auction........... Edit: Also Anne, you could always post your question on the various and sundry Corvette Forums out there on the 'net, to give you more info on what you might want. I'm sure they'd be more than willing to help as some of them may be model builders as well. Some of them may be restoring a '62 and would have some excellent photos. berr13 Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 When I get in a pinch, I always check "cars-on-line.com". It's an online sales site that can sometimes come with many photos, and all makes are represented as well as years. I find it particularly handy for stock interiors.
blunc Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 (edited) the fuel injection system on the 62 vette (and most if not all early vettes) was made by Rochester. I suggest these google search (and image search) words: "rochester fuel injection" or "1962 rochester fuel injection" mechanical fuel injection can also be used to search on but I think you'll get too many other types of injection systems. I came up with pages of reference photos and sites using these search words. Edited April 9, 2013 by blunc
