This model was a quick "slump buster" for me. Minimal work on the chassis and interior. I had never used gold as a base coat before. I wanted to see what it would do with Tamiya TS52 - Candy Lime Green. I also like to play around with lighting, backgrounds, etc. Here are the results. Hope you like it!

Same angle, softer light.

I also took pictures on a black background. I'll share two to let you see how it changes how you see the car.

Love the color!! I'm not brave enough to tackle bright colors like that.

Love the backgrounds. Black has more character to me.

Are sure this is not the AMT kit?

Pretty sure it's Revell. It's one of the cars they use for the Make and Take programs. I built one too. Just fun to paint and detail.

Tom, I forgot all about the Revell version, I was only thinking about the glue version, it looks like AMTs kit, my mistake

Nice job on the Camaro, it does look good in the shade of green

Thanks for the comments guys!

As Tom said, this is Revell's Snap-Tite kit. It was just a quick build and it gave me the chance to try something new, (gold base coat). BTW, I really like the way they paint turned out over the gold. I will try some other colors this way.

It's exactly what you want from a "slump-buster"! Well done! People shouldn't be scared to try different paint schemes etc in this hobby... It's all about trying different things ;-)
