Shelby 427 1965 Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 (edited) Bought this kit in Berlin when I was over for a school trip. Haven't modified it really, just built it box stock. Went for a real sinister look which I think I got. Overall I'm happy with it, and it even came with German numberplates, bonus! More pics coming! Edited April 27, 2013 by Shelby 427 1965

MikeyB08 Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Nice! The Carroll Shelby Signature on the dash board is a very nice touch!!
Stuntman Mike Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 (edited) Nice build of a great kit!!! A little note: The license plate on your model is German, not Dutch. The small "D" on the blue background stands for Deutschland (Germany). Dutch vehicles have yellow license plates with a "NL" for Netherlands. "HF" in your license plate stands for the area around the city Herford. A lot of models from Revell of Germany have HF license plates as the Revell headquarter is located near Herford. I live in that area aswell and have a HF license plate on my car. It´s a 15 minute ride to get to Revell from my home. I frequently go there to buy second-rate quality kits. These are boxes with very small dents, but undamaged kits inside. Everything 50% off, great for parts cars. Edited April 27, 2013 by Stuntman Mike
Shelby 427 1965 Posted April 27, 2013 Author Posted April 27, 2013 Cheers everyone! @Kevin: Yeah. my typing error, I don't know what made me say dutch when I knew it was German o.O Anyway, thanks Also, extremely jealous! Would love to get discounts! although since I'm like, the ONLY person that buys the kits in my local hobby store, maybe I'll get one eventually... A man can hope.
lazlow Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 Dude, that looks great, nice paint work under the hood, Its also neet to see one with that plate on it verses the stats plate, good job. Laz
