Thanks Tommy & James!

Sorry, won't be any updates for little while, have been awake for last couple of days, there have been evacuations here, this flooding is going on in my city right now!

And look at that, the doors even fit the body! (that's an inside joke with myself)

Seriously, this is an incredible piece of work. I've thoroughly enjoyed reading this thread, it put a smile on my face.

I remember the adds in automotive magazines in the 80's and early 90's. There was one with a head-on shot with a dark car and the interior glowing yellow/orange. I personally like the swirly wheels like the red W8 car in that video has. When I think Vector, those are the wheels that come to my mind. If you made a set of those and do decide to sell copies of the car, I would buy one. I wouldn't care if the wheels aren't "era correct" for the rest of this versions details.

Thanks Dennis, yes the wheels you refer to are the ones used on the eventual production W8 cars, this W2 Vector was the original, and the production cars pattered from it :)

Okay, so back at the work bench!

The pre-assembly check looks good, and some other refinements being added, including the oddly shaped interior panels the W2 employed

The Vector W2 was undoubtedly inspired in parts by the Countach of that same time period, most notably the scissor style doors

:)

This is just absolutely incredible!!

The close up shots of this....the detail is better than some of the largest model companies.

You are a true artist my friend!

The vision, the execution, attention to detail.....top notch 100%

It's the real life stuff keeps getting in the way of my build time! LOL ;)

More to come shortly, as I work to button this master pattern up, then show some of the casting process too

Thanks Pat!

Been off due to hand injury, but starting to resume some further work on my projects now

This first casting of Vector wheels, I gave shot of gloss black paint to see detailing on inspection ....mastered off of 3D printed sets, they came out not to bad, and I'm quite pleased!
