A pair of 2012 Jimmie Johnson Cars

Here are two completed builds of 2012 Jimmie Johnson race cars. Both were done using the AMT COT kits along with resin nose conversions and aftermarket decals.

The first is one of Jimmie's primary paint schemes for 2012 using decals from Powerslide. The suspension has been adjusted to achieve a better ride height.

And the second is of Jimmie's Madagascar3 paint scheme from his Dover win. Decals for this one were provided by Stoney.

Both builds are curbside builds so there is no engine or underside detail.

Dupli-color Metalcast Blue. It is a transparent paint prayed over a silver basecoat.

Very Nice. Nice clean work, Beautiful paint jobs. With a little work these kits look pretty good and are fun to build. I have a few of them started which will include a couple Charger. Toyota & Fusion conversions. Love those powerslide decals.
