Modlbldr Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Here is a build I started recently for the Lowrider CBP. I have not seen any photos of a lowrider 41 Chevy pickup but I have had this idea in my brain for quite some time. I picture it in various shades of blue with silver and copper. So far I have cut up a 70 Monte Carlo lowrider frame to fit. I have raised the bed floor and molded in the tops of 60 Impala wheel wells for tire clearance. I also had to mold in a tranny tunnel made from pop can aluminum to cleat the tranny. I have a bit more progress started, like opening the hood side vents and grille and the beginnings of a sun visor for the cab. I'll post my updates here as well as the Lowrider CBP. There doesn't seem to be a lot of interest in that CBP yet, but I'm hoping it will get going. This is my first Lowrider build and I am excited about it. I will be looking for pointers from others. metalhead Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Nice work. Are you using the kit engine or is it from another kit? RYAN.
Modlbldr Posted June 3, 2013 Author Posted June 3, 2013 Thanks. It has been fun, so far. It is the kit engine but I am thinking of making it a dual carb setup. Later-
