I have always hated many aspects of the several variations of this kit. On the other hand, I've always loved what people do with this kit. Despite it's drawbacks, it usually builds quite well. Great job on this one. I actually love the fact that you didn't do the chrome strip between the bed and cab. I think it just ruins the look on the 1:1.

This is one of my favorite kits to build for that reason. I've done two so far, and I have a '58 or '59 pickup resin body to build another!

I'm building 3 of these a 2 '55's and '57.  What size tires and wheels did you use?  I'm having trouble fitting wide tires on the rear of '55.
