TheRX7Project
Cool looking truck. As for the floor pan I noticed the same on my '55 Stepside, so I added a piece of thin Evergreen sheet, as others mentioned.

Longbox55
Here's some factory pix showing the underside of the cab, note that the steps are only at the doors themselves. Here's a few pix of my 1:1 truck, they're not the best, didn't get a chance to put it up on a lift.
Chris White
Here I was only looking to get some feedback about this kit. Wasn't expecting to get an education in the process. Thanks guys, this forum never ceases to impress.
Skydime
I have always hated many aspects of the several variations of this kit. On the other hand, I've always loved what people do with this kit. Despite it's drawbacks, it usually builds quite well. Great job on this one. I actually love the fact that you didn't do the chrome strip between the bed and cab. I think it just ruins the look on the 1:1.
Tom Geiger
I have always hated many aspects of the several variations of this kit. On the other hand, I've always loved what people do with this kit. Despite it's drawbacks, it usually builds quite well. This is one of my favorite kits to build for that reason. I've done two so far, and I have a '58 or '59 pickup resin body to build another! Yeah, they are pretty fun to tinker with.
wilderness1989
I'm building 3 of these a 2 '55's and '57. What size tires and wheels did you use? I'm having trouble fitting wide tires on the rear of '55.
