Hi all,

Just the Hasegawa kit built out of the box except for lowered suspension, removal of bumpers/lower side trim & Fujimi Panasport rims with Aoshima tyres.

Very cool build. And it's nice that it's a four door as well as having stock wheel wells. The Revell version has those huge flares molded in! Is this a current kit? Even one that's not current but reasonably easy to find?

I had one of these for a few days in 1978. I was renting an apartment on a farm and there was a yellow 510 sitting next to the barn. I asked the property owner and he said that a previous tenant had left it because it didn't run. He said I could have it if I could make it run. So I spent a few afternoons on it and managed to get it running again. I drove it around the farm in victory! Then I came home one day and it was gone. I asked and my landlord said he sold it to our mail man!

Thanks Tom, I'm not sure of the availability of the kit in the states, I got mine via HJL awhile back but it appears to be out of stock at the moment.

Very nice, any photos of how you lowered it?

Thanks James, I haven'y got any pictures I'm afraid, I ditched the kit supplied suspension and used metal axles - not very sophisiticated I admit, but it got the look I wanted.
