Ajay Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Hi all, Just the Hasegawa kit built out of the box except for lowered suspension, removal of bumpers/lower side trim & Fujimi Panasport rims with Aoshima tyres. Thanks for looking Cheers Andy
drunknmunky Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Absolutely beautiful build. Perfect stance, perfect color.
Tom Geiger Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Very cool build. And it's nice that it's a four door as well as having stock wheel wells. The Revell version has those huge flares molded in! Is this a current kit? Even one that's not current but reasonably easy to find? I had one of these for a few days in 1978. I was renting an apartment on a farm and there was a yellow 510 sitting next to the barn. I asked the property owner and he said that a previous tenant had left it because it didn't run. He said I could have it if I could make it run. So I spent a few afternoons on it and managed to get it running again. I drove it around the farm in victory! Then I came home one day and it was gone. I asked and my landlord said he sold it to our mail man!
Alan Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 LOVE the 510's, 2dr, 4dr, wagon ... just a great looking little car .... VERY nice job!

Thanks Tom, I'm not sure of the availability of the kit in the states, I got mine via HJL awhile back but it appears to be out of stock at the moment. Cheers Andy
Ajay Posted July 15, 2013 Author Posted July 15, 2013 (edited) Very nice, any photos of how you lowered it? Thanks James, I haven'y got any pictures I'm afraid, I ditched the kit supplied suspension and used metal axles - not very sophisiticated I admit, but it got the look I wanted. Cheers Andy ps/ Thanks for the other replies guys - much appreciated. Edited July 15, 2013 by Ajay
