PatW Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 Hi, this is my first go at a lowrider / tuner in over 40 years building! I've built stacks of Japanese rally cars but not tuners.
PatW Posted August 22, 2013 Author Posted August 22, 2013 And a couple more pics............................... And although a bit fuzzy ( like me ) you get the idea..................
Bastardo Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 Evil Appart from the decal film everything else is yummy
PappyD340 Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 That's really SWEET Patrick, would have been something if you had took out the back seat and shoehorned a HEMI in there!!
Ace-Garageguy Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 The Fit is one of my favorite econoboxes, and it works well with the big-wheel look.
o-man Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 I hate the giant wheel look, but for the genre, I think it turned out great!
PatW Posted August 22, 2013 Author Posted August 22, 2013 Thanks all. Bastardo...yes I should cut it closer!
sjordan2 Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 (edited) The satin finish looks great on this car and the detailing is terrific. I do not like the wheels, and I think this is another example of a car that couldn't turn its front wheels without shredding the tires. It couldn't exist in the real world. PatW Posted August 23, 2013 Author Posted August 23, 2013 (edited) Thanks guys for your comments. Well sjordan2, most real car builders cheat, when they build a lowrider, because as soon as they turn the key all the gas/airbags raise the suspension and off they go. Therefore no chewed tyres! I missed the lowrider part, which you clearly stated.
