Built this as a mythical kinda truck, did it in Silverado Trim with the Sport Package, something that never really existed (I have pictures on film of a few that use to cruise around Oshawa with GM Plates on them)

Started with a promo

And this picture from the '92 Brochure (top truck is a real Scottsdale trim K1500 Sport, bottom is a regular Silverado trim C1500)

Ended up with this

Actually, according to my 1992 Consumer Guide, the 2WD model was available with the Sport package, along with the Silverado trim (a $2000 option over base price). It also came with body color bumpers and grille.

Yours looks good however, and the with the wheels you can say it has the Sport Handling package. :P

I never said they never existed I just never saw one that didn't belong to GM of Canada, and they all had Chrome fixin's (Bumpers, Grille, Mirrors)

And yes it has the 6 hole 15x8's with 60 series rubber, like the brochure says.

Ah ok, the way you phrased it made it sound like, well, it wasn't a production option. Perhaps the chrome bits were part of a Canadian version.

Here's an example of a Sport with the Silverado trim:

Yeah it was all internal basically (Ie Full Power Group, Convience Group 1-3 ETC.)

The ones I saw I only ever saw with GM Plates, never saw them with regular plates or on dealer lots.

Somewhere I have a photo of a truck down the street from my cousins house in Oshawa, the guy worked for GM and at the time it was a new-ish '93, it was a Sport...............but really unique (no Markings, Champagne Gold exterior and beige interior, Chrome exterior options with the red side trim)
