MsDano85gt Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 working on rear wheel drive converting the sho Taurus will have a supercharged 4.6 for power plant not sure yet what to do with the Yamaha v-6 may put it in an older foxbody mustang!
Foxer Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 (edited) Awww ... everything has a V8. I love the look of the SHO and I did turn it 90 degrees to fit in a '32 Ford! I haven't seen a Taurus built at all, so will tuning in here. Edited August 28, 2013 by Foxer
Ford guy Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 (edited) Cool idea Dan! You never see Taurus', other than stock. Can't wait to see the build. I've thought of putting the Yamaha engine into an early Mustang. It's just so cool looking! It would be cool in a fox body too. Edited August 28, 2013 by Ford guy
GTMust Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Cool idea. I often thought of doing something similar with a Ford Probe body. Perhaps even mid engine? Tony

1930fordpickup Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Have you ever looked at Jay Leno's garage web site. He has a Fiesta or a Festiva with a rear mounted SHo engine. It is called a Shogun or something like that. He likes the car because it is nimble with plenty of power. In the real world all it takes is a C4 out of a Aerostar for the rear drive Sho engine. I love the EXP idea.
