John M.
My trusty Accord started to have a steering issue that I can only describe as "Squirrely" On the advice of my mechanic, I can't drive it on the highway until he can take a closer at the car at his shop on Tuesday. That means I won't be able to attend the Classic Plastic model car show and contest in Lawrence Mass. on Sunday. I'm bummed over it but as a school bus driver, "Safety" is my middle name. What year is your honda? I've seen common rust out on the front subframe, passenger's side by the control arm mount and the body mount here in the northeast. Gotta love salt. Tom Geiger
Crazy drive from NJ to PA yesterday! On the NJ Turnpike I was in the center lane and a car in the left lane was slowly overtaking me. We were going about 80. Suddenly there’s a loud blast of a rice burner screaming in between us, straddling the line! Quite startled I grabbed the wheel with both hands until I saw him going about 100 and then going all the way over to the slow lane to get past more cars! Later the radio reported an accident a few exits ahead and we wondered if it was him or if he caused it. Then we get back to PA and as we get off the PA Turnpike, there’s a two lane exit to the right that splits for two highways. I’m in the left lane of this exit and suddenly the guy to my right decides to go straight! If I didn’t jam my brakes he was into the right front fender of my new TourX! At my request, my mechanic inspected the car's entire bottom while it was on the lift for some exhaust work awhile back and said it's solid. Edited October 5 by John M. NYLIBUD
Ok,I like Halloween, like most folks.Of course i liked it more when i was in my teens.Going out right after school, having egg and shaving cream fights.I remember coming home at dark covered from head to toe in eggs and shaving cream. My mother never understood what I was doing while i was out running around with my friends.Anyway, now im older,I don’t go out on Halloween, unless i take my little niece out.Now the thing that is annoying(irking)me is that most of my neighbors have their homes decorated almost like Xmas.Big scary figures and animals, blown up giant Halloween figures all over their front yards. Now that’s not what’s bothering me.I actually think the decorations are pretty cool.Expensive, but pretty cool. What is annoying to me,is my next door neighbor not only has the most figures, and decorations than anyone else on my road, they are all figures that yell, howl, evil laughs, scream, talk, etc.Ok,but he has the volume turned all the way up on the figures. They are all right outside my bedroom window. So as soon as it gets dark out,the monsters(figures),start doing their thing, yelling, screaming, howling, etc. There really loud and it seems like they go off every other minute. And he’s got at least 15 figures going off at the same time.?.They go off on a timer,or there on motion sensors. So if a person walks by,or car drives by their house, boom they go off.I want to ask him to lower the volume, but i really don’t want to start a war with my neighbor,so I guess I gotta put up with it.Oh and this guy leaves the decorations up about a week after Halloween ends. You know how people do with Xmas decorations. But that’s Xmas.Ah whatever.?♂️?ANNOYING.?????? Might want to contact the store where you purchased the kit as well. I question the bar code listing this as a Camaro. As for the contents, that would be up to Round 2. Good luck. I have a similar problem with my neighbor “all summer long”. He’s one of those guys that has to have his lawn looking like a pool table at all times, which means he waters and fertilizes the snot out of it, which in turn requires him to mow his lawn 2 to 3 times a week. No problem. I have other neighbors who are also as anal about their lawns, but this creep waits until about a half an hour before dark before he starts mowing. In the middle of the summer, this means that he’s beginning to mow his lawn with his big *ss zero turn mower at around 9:00 at night when everyone else is trying to wind down for the evening and would like a little peace and quiet instead of listening to that noisy turd for an hour. To make matters worse, on the weekends, he for some psychotic reason has to drag his mowing out for the whole freakin’ day! He’ll putz around half of the morning in his front yard with his bagging push mower making sure he gets those perfect diagonal lines. Then he’ll go play golf, or whatever the hell he does in the afternoon, and then come back and run that friggin’ rider until after dark! I tell my wife that if I ever lose my mind and go postal, he’s gonna be the first one to get picked off of that rider! I also tell her that if I ever get to the point where my lawn is one of the most important parts of my life, to just go ahead and kill me. Life’s not worth living anymore at that point. Rob Hall
I have some sort of electrical issue in my garage. Flipped on the lights at the back of the garage yesterday (separate from the fluorescent lights over the cars) and heard a sizzle, and saw white smoke coming out of a metal box at a junction of two metal conduit tubes in the rafters. Moved the cars outside, cut the power to the garage, got an electrician coming Monday....kind of freaked me out.

Thought my mother was cooking something, asked, and just happened to lean on the wall and felt the heat. Luckily we didn't lose too much, could have been a lot worse. Good call on moving things out and cutting power, some tend to panic. Hopefully it's not major, that gets expensive.
TonyK
Fasted today for my annual blood letting before my annual checkup in a couple of weeks. The medical center I go to every year moved the lab to another building so I walked over there and waited for it to open at 7:30. No nice waiting room as before and once they unlocked the door I found out I'm not in their system and there's no lab request. Apparently this place is a private company operating within the "system" but doesn't have the previous records. I needed to call my doctor who is in the same "system" and have him send a request. Never had to do this for the past 20 years. Would've been good to know before my whole fasting plan. So I call my doctor and the girl kept saying she couldn't find me on her computer. Again, been going to this guy for 20 years or more. On hold a couple of times and finally she said she'd put in the request. Doesn't ask me where I need it sent to. So I go to the My Chart website and send a message directly to the care team and give them all the info which should get a result. They've been reliable in the past. btw, I know my heart is good because it's been beating awfully hard all morning with all the stress I've gone through.
