mikemopar70
Hi folk's Here's my latest, waiting to complete my 1968 Biscayne (bumpers to be chromed). I started this one about 10 years ago, when Pro-Modeler released the Daytona! I decided to complete it, since it was almost finished. I went to a few problems in the works during the build, but decided to complete it as is (and still missing the side view mirror!) It's been done with a combination of the Daytona and the R/T with the MPC 500 grille. Thank's for watching! Marc @ MPC Motorsports
Very nice. I would like to see some photos of how you combined the R/T grille with the MPC Charger 500 part.
mikemopar70
Very nice. I would like to see some photos of how you combined the R/T grille with the MPC Charger 500 part. I'm sorry, i don't have any pics of that WIP, since it's about ten years old and i didn't have a numeric camera at the time.. But i can tell you how i did it, i just took the 1969 R/T grille and bumper, i carefully removed all the grilles and divider to keep only the surrounding(if only the 1968 was released at the time, it would have been easier since it doesn't have the center divider) and i cut the grille from the MPC bumper and trim it to fit on the Revell opening.. Simple as this, it only took a few minutes of work, and i sent it to chrome. Thank's for the comments..
