RadialDragon Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 "1/25 Ford Cammer 427 SOHC American Muscle Engine" I am about to under go a 10.5 tire 1990 LX Mustang Build and am seriously considering this engine as the power plant. There are a few questions I hope I can find answers for by starting this thread and they are : (1) Has anyone here built one and actually have pictures of it? ( I googled it and results were mainly the box art) (2) Carbuerators. Are there any? Or is it just the air breather? I would like to not have the air breather and have a nice dual carb set up showing. (3) What style of intake manifold is this engine running? Looks to me like a single plane Intake.. (4) Transmission (Does it include one?) Sorry for all the questions but I have never bought an "aftermarket" engine for a model and wanted to be sure on a few things before I made the purchase.. Thanks
dimaxion Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 I remember a "four in a row Holly" cover on a Hot Rod Magazine . Inside of the Article Titled : '1500 HP on Pump Gas'. This Carb was ontop of a 427 Cammer . The resin kit . I just don't know . I am famaliar with the IMC / Union '48 Ford & Jo-Han 427 Cammers . I've never seen this carb in model form and one on a Drag Car at a Car Show . The kit Cammers had 2 4 bbls. . Thanx ..
