SMBC Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Got this little COE and trailer for a HO layout, and weathered it up. The truck and trailer needed some dirt to give it that used look. It was washed with detailer wash and airbrushed with different shades of grime. 1
kilrathy10 Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Definitely, some good work done, here....Great job on the weathering....
Sixties Sam Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Good work! It looks like it just pulled in after a long run. I like how you did the exhaust soot on the trailer. Sam
SMBC Posted November 25, 2013 Author Posted November 25, 2013 Good work! It looks like it just pulled in after a long run. I like how you did the exhaust soot on the trailer. Sam Used an airbrush with about 10 PSI and Testors "rubber" color
joeym Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 Awesome job on this. Great weathering. Looks perfect.
Hammerdown Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Excellent. Looks like what I use to see a lot of, out on the big road, around Chi-town in my 78 Mack, back in the day.
BigBad Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 (edited) Looks just right! This is incredibly detailed for this scale. Separate windshield wipers, grab handles and steps, really? The rig is barely an inch wide! Edited December 15, 2013 by BigBad
peekay Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Wonderfully realistic weathering. It would have been so easy to overdo it in 1.87th but you really got it just right.
Trailking120 Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Nice job weathering that semi. Do you have any pictures of the layout?
trucknut10 Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Chris, what a great job considering its a very small scale, that would look great on a HO scale model Rail Road lay out. I would like to see you build a 1/25 or 1/24 scale truck. Terry
