Kennyboy Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 I would like to get into this with the Supra if that is ok. Just picked one up at a swapmeet recently......I plan on going VERY detailed with it with a lot of non-kit parts. Will start the build after I finish the NSX I am currently working on.

Kennyboy Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Well, here we go! Got some pics of progress on the Supra so far (I will also be running this in On the Workbench). Custom turbo from solder and aluminum heatshield around it. Aluminum tubing and rubber couplers from heatshrink tube. Going to do: -Different subs in interior (got some parts box Audiobahns) -Carpet (embossing powder) -Wiring in engine compartment (blue black and orange like the real car) -Individual taillight lenses (red, amber, clear with black surround like the real car) -Different wheels/tires from an Aoshima kit (five spoke larger diameter than kit wheels)
TFchronos Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Excellent start Ken, that engine is gorgeous.
Kennyboy Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Thank you Jonathan! Got the taillights done last night......pics later.

TFchronos Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 (edited) Here's an update on the Skyline got a few stray warm days over the past month and finally got the body painted. Also started work on the Chargers front end. Thanks for looking! Edited March 25, 2014 by TFchronos
TFchronos Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Looking great Jacob! Update on the Charger, got the front sealed up, still got to run panel lines for the front clip. Also started on the grille, next is smoothing the roof and interior work.
Stuntman Mike Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Looking good Jonathan. Please don´t forget to remove the chrome trim from the wheel arches I´ve started the same project some time ago. It´s been sitting in the box like this for almost two years. This CBP makes me want to get back to it. Have a Tokyo Drift Monte Carlo in the same stage aswell.
lingham Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 Can someone tell me out of the MANY skylines that are out there which is the best one? Ive looked at loads and can't find which would be best...
chevyfever2009 Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Daytona is close (quick mockup) Where did you find those wheels
