Darren B
A long time ago a lowrider magazine article got my juices flowing on making a totally custom one off lowrider fiero. the green foam is not the finished color that the foam will be just using an off color for ideas. Will have a total off the wall sound system and hydraulics as well.
farmer1
That will definitely be different and cool, I remember some V6 to small block chevy V8 swaps in the real ones, seems they had the same bell housing pattern on the transaxle. just a thought
ToyLvr
That will definitely be different and cool, I remember some V6 to small block chevy V8 swaps in the real ones, seems they had the same bell housing pattern on the transaxle. just a thought Back in the day, I owned a 1:1 '84 Fiero, and was a member of the national Fiero club. I saw photos of one where the owner swapped in a Caddy Northstar V-8. He said that things bolted-up pretty well to the stock Fiero, such as the aforementioned bell housing. The most common swap was to swipe the 3.1 Chevy V-6 out of a miniVan and drop it into the Fiero.
mademan
northstar swaps are quite common nowadays, you can get an actual kit to mount it. 3.8 s/c from the grand prix gtp is pretty common too.

Joe Handley
I saw a Fiero this summer that had a Vette LS motor dropped into it, that could be an interesting swap too..
