farmer1 Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Started on the '56 years ago, before it was finished I decided it needed a '56 and a '57 to go with it. Finally got all 3 done, some wip photos here http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=55164&p=643252 The '56 and '57 have a much more finished inner bed.The '57 was by far the most involved, a lot of bodywork to get it where I was satisfied. 1
Speedpro Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Very impressive. One would be a challenge.......but three! Nice work on all of them.
Tom Geiger Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Those are very cool. Now you need a class photo of the three of them together!
gman Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Beautiful paintwork- care to share what you painted them with?

Guest Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 They're all three very nice builds Randy! I've always wanted to build an El Camino with that AMT Nomad. Maybe I'll get to it someday. Nice work on all three!
farmer1 Posted December 17, 2013 Author Posted December 17, 2013 Thanks for compliments, all the great work I see on this forum really inspires me to improve my models !! All are painted with automotive basecoat and clear, sanded and polished. I owned a collision repair shop for over 20 years, sold it to an employee last year and he still lets me raid the paint shelf for leftovers or mix up some if I can't find what I need, like the yellow '56 class photo
S. Svendsen Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Nicely done. I'm particularly diggin' the '56 whose C pillar roof line flows nicely with the angled side trim.
Dominik Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Good jobs, buddie. Like them - they look really cool. Nice colors, nice wheels, nice stance.
migace Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Those are inspiring to me! Thank you for sharing! Beautiful work!
