riverart Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Hello All. I thought I'd share my latest creation. This was my entry for a competition between my best friends from high school. I'm proud of this because my weakness has been painting and this is no exception. Thanks for looking!
PappyD340 Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Very NICE Rogelio, well done, nice color too!!
riverart Posted January 13, 2014 Author Posted January 13, 2014 Thanks Chris. My first time using it.
krazyglu Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Wow so I guess you won, I think the foil work look's really nice myself. I like the color and the carpet, very nice model.
dantewallace Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Real nice Rogelio!!! What kit is this and who makes the wheels/tires, Pegasus?
riverart Posted January 16, 2014 Author Posted January 16, 2014 Thanks! This was the Revell 1963 Impala kit. Although the photo on the kit suggests either a mild custom or a stock build, there were parts that I used that were included that I used for the lowrider such as the battery packs and different suspension height setups. I went with the tallest ones to give the locked up look. The wheels are indeed from Pegasus directly from their store in Montclair. I picked up the plaque from ebay, which I was super excited about.
