kjc99 Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Built this one a couple months ago, (can't paint in the winter so not working on much now). Built it mostly box stock but lifted it to make it a 4x4. Its pretty simple but I like it, the paint came out great I don't know how well you can see in the pics though. This is my favorite body style ford so I have plans to build a few.
vincen47 Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Nice work. What did they put under the hood for that kit?
Jordan White Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Ford 7.5L/460 big block. Cool build! Looks like southern good 'ol boy truck.
kjc99 Posted January 24, 2014 Author Posted January 24, 2014 Thanks guys, glad to hear good feedback on it.
cavemanx Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Those the tires of the Lindberg F-150? If so, it looks good with them.
Greg Cullinan Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 (edited) Looks great. Paint is exceptionally smooth. When I did mine the windows and tailgate I struggled with. Well windows are my modeling nemesis. Edited January 25, 2014 by Greg Cullinan

If so, it looks good with them. They are from that kit, they fit the f250 rims and I agree they look good, much better than the ones that come with this kit,and Greg the back windows are a pain in this kit but with some patience they go in okay, I've never had any tailgate issues though (this is the 3rd time I've built this kit). Platerpants Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 I wonder how caveman knew the lindberg tires? Maybe because i have 2 of em. I like this build, alot nicer than mine that i tried to convert to 4x4.
