kennb Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 This was a glue bomb...........Added pick up bed......interior still has room for the jump seats.....dropping it in the weeds and rebuilt the front pillars that were missing.......... Not sure if it is going to stay this way.....Have to look at it a lot.
Belugawrx Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Cool I'm likin'... is that a cd case on the dash????? It's gonna get warped!!
Davewilly Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Yeah I agree...looks pretty cool...it already even has the right paint job....Maybe some gloss red wheels (the ones on it now!) and a new looking interior and I think it would be a winner just as it is. IMO that is
kennb Posted January 31, 2014 Author Posted January 31, 2014 I have been thinking gloss red wheels,,,yes those that are on it now and a neat interior,,,maybe a 66 Thunderbird rear seat (the wrap around type) and some high back buckets in front....The paint is almost done,,,,,just going to add a little rust here and there, Thanks for the comments I was not sure of the paint but now I am fine with it.
farmer1 Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 found this when I was looking for reference for my 55-57 nomad to el camino projects, looks a bit like your project, I like it !

midengineaddict Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 OK, you know for sure what the word COOL means
kennb Posted February 1, 2014 Author Posted February 1, 2014 The interior is getting close,,,the rear seats have been reworked to match the new high back bucket seats...........wheels painted and doors are being worked on.
clovis Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Very cool...and I'm not even a fan of dropped cars. Very, very, very cool. Nice job!!!
kennb Posted February 4, 2014 Author Posted February 4, 2014 Thanks for the support and comments Here is the tail light set up.....all custom built light, bumper and valance.....................I don't have a bumper so I had to make one up
kennb Posted February 4, 2014 Author Posted February 4, 2014 got the 57 vette this morning.....................stripped out the grill for this and the door handles,,,,,both are bolt in parts..... [url=http://s1282.photobucket.com/user/shutter-bug3/media/1964%20Mustang/DSCN7567_zps39cdca8d.jpg.html][/url I will now mount some pins on the back of the grill to bring it out so the front edge matches the front edge of the hood..the curve of the grill is the same as the Mustang hood. Well planned :ugeek: It is going to look aggressive...................
Baugher Garage Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 Love this build! Have to ask - is that garage built of Legos?? If so, you're a genius! Fun idea!
kennb Posted February 4, 2014 Author Posted February 4, 2014 It is indeed legos,,,,,,,,very solid and easy to do....few different brands oof gray primer finish it off....the base is one sheet of plastic. I still need more legos to finish the loft
