I gave this kit to the wife for Christmas as her first kit. I prepped, primered, & painted the body & she built it. The kit stripes are stickers so I couldn't get them to lay totally flat. Thinking about either removing them altogether or replacing them with waterslide decals. Any suggestions? Sorry for the blurriness of these pics. Still trying to get the lighting figured out.

I never minded the snaps by Johan or many curbside kits....they still can be made into a great looking model. Ones imagination is the only limit with them as many kits. Looks nice to me and I'm a 60s to mid 70s kind of guy so nice work.

Mike, that's cool you got your wife involved. I'm lucky to get my wife to look at one of my cars without an evil eye. Yeah, those stickers are horrible. I built one of these in yellow with my little girl and the stickers layed down smooth. A few weeks later they started coming up. Great kits but, terrible stripes.
