1960 Monogram 1/8th Scale Chevy Engine

I've been wanting one of these for a while,and finally found one. I had to but parts and a box from one *bayer and the engine itself from another. Now the only parts I don't have are the Hilborn manifold and the injector tubes.

This even has the optional motorizng kit! It runs! I had to make a new push button and battery holder. Not pretty,but it works. It's hard to see in the pictures,but the impellers in the blower rotate and there's 2 pistons on the front of the engine that move.

the problem with the pistons I think is that they are both connected to the same lobe of the crankshaft!

pharaoh, if you still need those hilborn injectors I might have a spare set, send me a PM and lets talk

Thanks William,but I'm going to leave it like it is for now.

Yes,the 2 pistons are connected to the same part on the crankshaft. It works OK. I think I stripped a gear or it's out of line. The motor turns,but nothing else does. And I'm not taking it apart again...
