I think the truck in the picture has a custom frame built to let the tires go up into the bed to get the truck lower. I am a boxstock builder and not good at custom work but I research and read. I found a video about a couple months ago of a prostreet 64 chevy I hope it helps...

Sweet video.. i didn't think much of it until he opened the hood and showed his motor.. wow, what a build!

I use the same stuff for rust. I found unless the surface your putting it on isn't prepped very well so It has something to stick to it eventually chips off. I did a frame where I didn't scuff the plastic and put the project away and dug it out a year plus later to find everything came off the frame.
