ERIK88 Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Looks pretty nice to me, maybe just a little black wash on the grille . Looks super clean
jrherald420 Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 I agree, little wash in the grill and your golden! Looks good.
FASTBACK340 Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Nice work Bob! Both cars look good despite being builds #1 & 2! What's next?
PappyD340 Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 I think it looks FANTASTIC for a second build ever! very clean, good job Bob!!!
dbbycreations Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Nice looking second build Bob! I also have finished my second model , hope you enjoy the creative outlet as much as I do.Happy modeling .
cobraman Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 I have to agree with the rest of the boys, looks very nice.
Belugawrx Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 That came out really nice Bob I like the chassis plumbing and wiring I've got to try that on my current project
Skypower Posted March 13, 2014 Author Posted March 13, 2014 Thanks for the comments guys I will look into washing the front grill when I do the mufflers and sand the rear tires.
MrObsessive Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Wow! For your second build ever it looks great! The only tip I can give is to maybe BMF your vent wing posts. They were chrome (actually stainless steel) like your window trim. I wish my second build could've looked this good!
hemi Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Looks great to me. Even though the vent windows should have bmf I think they look great yellow. Like they have said only thing the car needs is a wash in the grill.
mikemopar70 Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Nice little Nova! It's clean and very well done, i like it!!
Skypower Posted March 14, 2014 Author Posted March 14, 2014 Thanks for all your comments guys I really appreciate them. I did start to BMF the vent windows but when I did it looked out of scale, like the vent posts are to big I will search on here to see if I can find some others done and see how they look. MrObsessive thanks for all the teaching you do with your builds they help a lot.
Grumpa Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Beautiful build Bob! I love the yellow with the flat black. Great engine, fuel cell and battery detailing!
Speedfreak Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Great job Bob! You do better work than I do! There's a guy who has a product called 'The Detailer' it's a water based wash that comes in different colors, it's pretty easy to use and looks great. There's also a product called/made by (?) MIG that's an enamel based wash that some people use with great success. Your car looks great. I admire your tenacity in sticking with what at times was a difficult build. Congradulations!
1 bad55 stan Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 That is 1 awesome build,All that detail is way cool and it's only your second build, mate i have been building for years and i'm blown away.Fantastic....
bogger44 Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 I would never have thought it was only your second build, nice work. I'd say you have a bright future ahead of you in this hobby. I know my second wouldn't have held a candle to yours. Lol
Skypower Posted March 14, 2014 Author Posted March 14, 2014 Thanks for all the kind words guys I'm trying, the great thing about this place is there are so many people who are willing to help with advice and by teaching in their builds it really helps us new guys. Thanks again to all those who gave advice and encouragement through out this build Bob
