Chromecop Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Almost 6 years ago I posted a Picture of a Chrysler 300 which I had started in 2006. It's gonna be a full custom with Starbird-inspired bubble-top. This is the Picture I posted in 2008:
Ace-Garageguy Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Cool idea. With those canted-quad headlamps, it's a natural for a custom.
Baugher Garage Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 That is going to be a nice project! Have you made much progress since 2008?
Chromecop Posted March 17, 2014 Author Posted March 17, 2014 (edited) Now I'm onto this one again, and this time I hope to get it done!!!! It'll be a curbside as I don't like the Engine-bay on the old Jo-Han kit, it looks awful! So I'll just use the lower parts of the Engine as a "dummy" and glue the NEW hood shut! Why new hood then...? Well, the stock one was mysteriously gone when I found the box in my stash after a couple of hours looking for this model! Edited April 1, 2014 by Chromecop
Chromecop Posted March 17, 2014 Author Posted March 17, 2014 (edited) I opened a MIB revell interior parts pack for the interior to this one (love them old parts packs!!!) and I also opened a MIB Aurora Parts pack with grilles and trim for the filler piece. Edited April 1, 2014 by Chromecop
Joker Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Glad to see you back on MCM Darryl . Happy to see a Kustom getting worked on too.
1930fordpickup Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 (edited) Darryl , do not worry the old hood will show up after you get this beauty painted and on display. This is going to be cool. Edited March 17, 2014 by 1930fordpickup
