Sergey Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 (edited) Hello, gentlemen! I have Monogram Ford F 350 kit. Examined the parts I found, that tyres are too wide to look right. So can anyone tell me the right tyre size of '80-s Ford F350 (front and rear)? I would also appreciate to know the right tyre size of '80-s Ford E350. Like this: Edited March 19, 2014 by Sergey
Longbox55 Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 The tires from that kit leave a lot to be desired. They're not even really truck tires, but the old Monogram Goodyear tire that they used as the option oversize trie in their 1/24 scale muscle car kits. The correct OEM size for the F250/350 is 215/85/16, though finding them with 245/75/16 (SRW) or 235/85/16 (DRW) is not uncommon. The E 250/350 vans generally run the same sizes, most of them I've ever worked on have the 245/75/16.
Sergey Posted March 20, 2014 Author Posted March 20, 2014 Thank you Bill! I will search for that size in all my PickUp/SUV kits or rework stock one for my needs.
Platerpants Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 was going to say the same as i work in a tire shop and see the vans quite a bit, around here they haul amish people....
