ajulia Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 (edited) Hello all! Just wanted to say Happy Holidays to everyone on the forum. Since being able to identify the car i have done a few changes also i knew getting it back to OOB would be too much because someone did a number trying to modify it before me. So heres my progress so far. As always i look forward to comments and for this build any ideas. Thank you for taking the time. Peace Ajulia HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL!!! This is how we brought it home from the Swap-meet In my opinion this is wide body so i wanted to draw focus to that and shorten the hieght of the top: Thank you for your time Hey gent's! Thanx for the comments and sorry for the delay in response. Now that the family and I are back home in NY (In Georgia for the holidays) I was able to finish building the rooftop and the windshield area last nite. All that is left is adding more fill and I will be able to begin sectioning the front fenders and redesign the hood opening . I have until the day after the New years off from work so I will have alot of wip . Heres some pics and will mos-def keep in touch. Keep on wit the keepin on! Peace Ajulia Thank you for your time. ajulia Posted December 28, 2007 Author Posted December 28, 2007 Hello fellas! Thank you for the comments and the push forward.! means alot and this is an exciting build for me. Well i posted updates on the same post so it doesnt bring it up as a new unread post so I replied to get it updated. Thank you again for your time also I am unable to come up with a color and I love two tone paint jobs also. Any ideas is always a go in my book! Thank you in advance for comments. Peace Ajulia
Custom Mike Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 Nice work on chopping the top Adalberto, that's something I've never done. What about a White top half and a Pastel Orange bottom? I get weird color combos in my head all the time, and that one is stuck in there right now. Give us some more progress!
ajulia Posted January 19, 2008 Author Posted January 19, 2008 Hello all! Sorry for the absence on this project although there is updates i am limited due to the fact that my donor kit is still in Georgia ( left kit after the holidays) waiting for the plymouth prowler for chassis; interior, and power supply to go in. Thank you for the time takin for comments and/ or replies. heres some recent updates:
Raul_Perez Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 Ajulia, Thats's looking pretty wild!!! I see that you're going for the mailbox slot sized rear window!! This makes my 41 Plymouth hotrod look tame!! Keep on keepin' on, my friend!!
Frank Steffens Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 That is looking AMAZING! I can't wait to see it done!
ajulia Posted February 7, 2008 Author Posted February 7, 2008 Hello all! Thanks for stoppin The progress has been slow ( tax time" busy for accountants) also donor was outastate'. Raul' thanks for stoppin and believe me I wish I couldvve built it original however the door cut-away area was bad. i love the dio you have the 41 displayed in and Frank thanks for postin' I am just as anxious to s ee her finally completed. The mods that have been done are not morale rollercoaster's just plenty of them. When i recieved the prowler kit i was surprised as to similarities between the frame and the design of the 41' body. heres a bunch of updates! Thanks for stoppin by Here I had to do some work on the chassis to meet the length of the car: The most mod'n will be the interior adjustments needed for the hieght of the tub and then to fit the firewall. It will be the support needed to start cutting the hood area for a forward tilt hood opening Will have to post again ( cannot upload anymore) Thanks for stoppin Peace Ajulia
