Anyone know who offers the best open hood 1965 Impala wagon?

I "massaged" mine a little, but that's just me. Out of the box, it was pretty good.

I checked every thing for fit, replaced some of the moulded on emblems with photoetch from the Model Car Garage '65 Chevrolet Set, and rescribed the pleats on the seats and door panels. It is one of my favorite models, but I would not do it like this again, as the paint job was not easy.

I have built 2 of these,1 is still on the bench,the hood was 1part that needed a bit of trimming ,other than that it is a real nice casting

Stan,could i use the hood from the Monogram kit? I have an extra low cowl hood for later builds.
