sensei kamikaze Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 (edited) Chrysler PT Cruiser My first model car of the year, in order to warm up my car modeling engine after a few airplanes I decide to hit the stash and start with this snap fast, just to have an easy ride. Not my best paint job, but is something. Tamiya TS-14 black, TS-30 Silver leaf and some more coats of TS-13 clear. for the body. Enjoy and comment!!! Edited April 23, 2014 by sensei kamikaze

charlie8575 Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 Nice work, Jesus. Two-tones aren't my strength either, but I like what you did. Check mine out. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=88581 Charlie Larkin
Lunajammer Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 (edited) Beautiful. Love that undercarriage. Your aircraft experience shows there. That grill is sure calling for a dark wash to fill the recesses though. The black bumpers indicate an earlier model and I think sets off your model well. By 2004 they were body color, so the nice thing about this kit is you can do either and not be wrong. Also very astute that you posted it in this section as they were registered as trucks (but it's still a car in my book). Edited April 23, 2014 by Lunajammer
