Brian Nehring Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006  Here's a few shots of a 40 Ford I've been cutting on for the last 5 or 6 years, I lost track of how long it's really been. This project started out as a just a quick build on an AMT Ford kit with a chop on the top and I was going to build it as a 50's style kustom. That changed drastically when I went to see what a set of Pegasus Chrome T's would look like under it. Now there isn't a panel that hasn't been cut , shaved or sliced on the whole car. Brian Here's a shot of my original concept I had when this one started.
mannyclub Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 That is sweet Lookin Brian!! Wil be cool to see this progress! Manny
Gregg Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 I agree, very very nice, low mean and well done it just looks like it fits right
Jairus Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 Very nice work! Beauiful roofline and hood sectioning too. How about rolling under the back of the rear fenders torpedo like? Also, I like the aluminum wheels you had under the second picture better but add a set of stock '40 Ford caps for a different look. Just a couple of thoughts.... 8)
Darin Bastedo Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Models are very carefully regulated for coolness, that way no one model has all the coolness. Your 40 has way, way too much coolness for one model. In all seriousness, I think you went the right way eshewing the traditional look and pushing the envelope. I can't wait to see this one done.
chevy263 Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 Great work !! talk about scrapin hehe the penny under the nose of the car is too funny  and the Mods to the body look great the suede 40 ford in the background is great also.
